Anyways i was also told about 300 a month depending on what i put down (2k- 3k) is what im looking toward.

Hell no....you can get a 3 times better payment with that. Shoot for low 200s man....with a low apr around 5.9 you can get a payment under 250. Dont pay 300 dollars a month for a car that isnt even MSRPed at 20,000. My boy has a Audi A4 and he pays 3 sumthin...my pops just got quoted for 180 for a infinti with a MSRP around 30,000. It does depend on down payments and Credit tho.

I'm not too sure I could agree with that observation. In order for him to get a low $200 payment he'd be needing to finance between 13-14 thousand.

After taxes and MV fees on the $19,300 selling price (with no trade-in allowance) with $3,000 down, he's still off by about $4,000 to get to that monthly payment.

Rav /NJ/PA buyers. Call:

Jeff D'Ambrosio Mitsubishi - www.jeffdambrosio.com
1222 E Lancaster Ave, Downingtown - (610) 873-2400

Ask for Lisa in sales. She gave me $21,000 as the starting price for a 08 GTS CVT with Tech/Nav and Sun/Sound.

Trust me they are in the business to move cars.... plus anyone from NJ can get one there because now PA is Cali Emissions also.

NJ doesn't require California Emissions Standard. NJ buyers are able to get either Federal or California Emissions Standard cars. Currently, NY buyers are the only ones who have to stick to Cali spec cars.

According to the EPA: California, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont and New York are the only states that require it's residents to only register Cali spec cars.

Just gave Jeff DAmbroisio a call.

Lisa no longer works there.

Got a quote from Brett there for an OUTSTANDING (*insert sarcasm*) price of $22,615 on a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS CVT w/ Sun & Sound and Navi & Tech packages.

I knew something was weird when I asked for a CVT and he asked me, "automatic or manual?"

Some of the sales folks are absolutely clueless about the 08 Lancer, I think it's got so much on it that is new and Mitsubishi clearly has not done much to educate their dealers. The one thing I would give my dealer low marks for was the walkaround before the final purchase; they didn't bother and when I tried to get them to do it after the purchase it was obvious they didn't know things about the car.

In fact, over the month or so I spent looking at Lancers and making my final decision to buy one, here are some of the things the dealers (not just the one I bought from) got wrong:
Size of the fuel tank
Size of the tires on the GTS
4 wheel disc brakes on ES
Manual shift mode for the CVT on an ES
Warranty length & limitations
