warranty on 08 lancer?

I want to lower the car, but was wondering in doing so will this forfeit my warranty?

And if so, am I forfeiting just the problem(s) that may have been a result of lowering the car?(like shock, and suspension failure)

Or is it the whole warranty... encluding tranny, engine failure even if it's not a result of lowering the car?

I would strongly recommend asking the services manager at your local dealership these questions, and if you can get it in writing. Otherwise I would say don't modify the car in any way until that warranty is up.

Legally speaking, you only forfeit repair of lowering-related problems.

Realistically speaking, they can deny you service and then you'd have to sue to get them to cover non-lowering-related problems.

or

They could be totally cool and give you a new motor even if you roll in with the turbo kit still on.

You really need to talk to your Service Manager and get a feel for their attitude about things.

Although warranty related problem are carried out a your local dealer.

Isn't warranty honored by the manufacture and shouldn't be different from dealer

to dealer?

Sadly, the warranties are extremely different from dealer to dealer.

It's not a perfect world. People can be *******s, people can refuse to do their job, etc.
