4. exhaust
5. pulley
6. progress bar/sway perches
7. strut bar
8. LSD
9. intake manifold
10. camshaft

i guess it kinda depends what route your going and what you want to do your lancer (drag, auto x, show). especially if your staying n/a or going fi your priorities of mods will change.

 

1. Turbo (Custom or Kit from RRM)
2. Tuning solution (Self tune or piggy)
3. Coilovers
4. Suspension bars

Everything else would be support mods for the turbo or the suspension of the car.

Fox

 

1. RRM turbo kit
2. Decent tires
3. RRM/Progress rear sway bar
4. Piggyback (for the N/A crowd)
5. Coilovers
6. Brake upgrade (pads/rotors/hoses/fluid)
7. LSD

After those, it all starts to run together. Those 7 are important to me. They make the biggest difference. After those, it just gets down to individual power/suspension mods that have a small effect on their own, but combine to make the car great.

(By that I mean that I can't rank IM, TB, catback, CAI, cam against each other. They all do a specific job.)

 

Personally, with FWD I'd have to say if you're fortunate enough to have a turbo kit on your Lancer an LSD would be my #2/#3 pick.

Hey, here are my thoughts.

1. Turbo, I have it and i am prett fast, makes the car a totally different expeience
2. Rear sway upgrade (w/ autocoss perches), especially if you have an es.
3. RMR front strut bar
4. tein coilovers, meagan, ksport etc.
5. turbo camshaft (rpw or custom crower)
6. emanage or ecuflash for tune
7. zeitronix wideband, egt, boost w/lcd screen
8. ported 4g93 intake manifold, i sound like a dammed jet.
9. coolant bypass, free shizzle, and yes i do feel peppy
10. SEAFOAM, go buy it NOW, i am much better off with it run through my system.

would u suggest 10:1 pistons with turbo amby???

 

There's a guy who did it before me and the dyno was definitely promising. As a general rule though I'd say no.

? You've been gone a while. Someone else did exactly what I was going to do and got great results. His engine is apparently fine and he got the kind of results I wanted.

 

so u mean he's boosting on 10:1 compression??? i guess anything is possible if u can tune
