im looking for some colored interior lighting to go up under the pedals area and the passengers side

i found these on eBay but look cheap

they do look cheap they don't show you the pictures of what the bulbs look like ( though i guess that doesn't matter ) i wouldn't do it because there's not reason for you to be looking at your pedals; but if you must go to auto-zone and pick out exactly what you like. my cousin did that to his 3CL1P53 ( that's his plates ) and it looks pretty kewl if your into that kinda thing. gl.

 

this is my experience with them, PERSONALLY, even though they seem to be going out of style, i use NEON tubes as opposed to LEDs...seems to just give a smoother transition across the lighted area, as opposed to LEDS which tend be "spotty" if not given enough space for the light to seperate...BUT if you choose to go neon, be careful where you mount them, becuase one slip of a foot ect, WILL crack the tube and they will be "kapoot"...forever...but heres how i did mine



first, i rescessed mounted them underneith my seat...i have had them for over 2 years and no cracks, you would physically need to lean down and punch them out for them to break (ideal mounting place IMO)

i just mounted mine on the sides of the center console because that lit up the whole area just like i wanted. That got wayyy too much cop attention so they are no longer on there. oh and crazy4ozs, i like how yours turned out too.

 

thanks, i tried alot of different mounting places, but they were all to vulnerable to my size 14 Jordans =/...i still vouch for recessed under the seat

 

mounted mine under the dash with zip ties... they're great... I got mine from a seller called glowshift something.... I couldn't be happier with them. They came with four tubes and a controller for like $25 shipped

 

i have mine mounted the same as crazy`s there cool but sometimes i don`t even use em at night i just hurry home.
