Trembling...Help

I have a 2006 Lancer ES. The problem im having with it is that when letting the clutch go in first gear...the car sometimes trembles....this only happens in first gear...and it only happens sometimes in the morning when the car has rested all night. I usually turn the car on and let it run about 2-5 minutes before driving off..

Can any one help me with this?????????

It sounds like regular clutch chatter...nothing really to worry about. My Civic does the exact thing. Only in the morning, only in first...

It's called "your car is warming up." Just ignore it unless it becomes a 24-7 problem.

Unless you two know of some magic way that the clutch disc is warming up while the car sits in your driveway idling, I'd say that our response of "it's still warming up" is correct.
Yeah, Defcon5Es is wrong in implying that it would not happen if he lets the car idle (because as I said before, the clutch is doing nothing while you idle). But the point is that your clutch is still cold and it is warming up as you first start driving. That is what is causing this "problem".

They're saying it's no big deal. It's normal and not hurting the car I assume.

Try pressing the clutch a few times before you go, yeah. That might help. But overall, don't worry about it. Nothing is actually wrong.

As Drucea said, it's not hurting anything. It's kinda like how you stumble around when you first get out of bed, you know? The car is just kinda working out the morning kinks.

My car does the same thing. I took it in to Mitsu and they just said that the surface on my flywheel was warped a little but that it was no big deal and that it wouldn t affect the car really at all. But im putting a new clutch in probably in the next week and im guna get the flywheel resurfaced
