Tail light question.

I have an 08 GTS and I want to spray tint my tail lights.

•How well will it hold up to high presure car wash?
•Do I put a clear coat on?

if i am not mistaken this is usually done on the inside surface of the lens to protect it from weather.

On my old car I painted them with the 'VHT Nightshades' and a couple thin coats of clear. It didn't come out shiny like you would expect, but it definitely held up over the years. If you want it to be shiny I would suggest to try and paint the inside.

you can get the shiney look by wet sanding the tint after applying several layers.

PM the guy that did his 08 already? He has a thread in the 08 How To section.

A shot of clear might be a good idea...
