Warranty

Since I just bought the car a few weeks ago it's still under warranty. So it's goign to be at least 5 years till I can put on some mods.

Does anyone know anyway to get around it without having to pay mitsubishi tons of cash to put on aftermarket parts?

Put the mods on yourself, save the OEM stuff, if you ever have to take it in for warranty work, put the OEM stuff back on.

So how strict are the dealerships with the warranty and voiding it because of upgrades? Are they as bad as they used to be with the GSX's?

I usually do all my own work so it would annoy the crap out of me to actually have to take it to the dealership all the time. Thats why I wanted to know. They aren't going to act like my warranty would be void if I do my own maintenance? Maybe install some aftermarket parts?

most of the time whats said is that if something goes wrong with your ride and the dealer can prove that the aftermarket part is to blame then there is talk of voiding certin warrantys. and even then theres ways to fight it.
