I am yet to see ANY advertising (other than the internet) for the new 08 lancer.
Nothing on TV, nothing on the radio and nothing in magazines. Has anyone else??

Any theories on why mitsu aren't advertising it?

I love the one where they're taking the car through a lot of turns, and when the guy mentions one more lap, it pans out to a system of on and off ramps for a couple intersecting highways Good work

 

Last week my wife took the wrong exit on a clover leaf and had to go all the way around - as soon as she told my daughter what she had done and what they had to do to get to the right exit, they both started humming the song and pretending they were in my Lancer.

 

That is the one I've seen also...maybe an ad or two in a mag.

 

I've seen the 4-clover commerical and possibly one more that I'd only caught once. But maybe it was an online ad/commercial.

But I saw my first GTS on the road the other road! Did look good, even in white...

 

AZ has them on every station more than 3 times a day lol....there really selling like flys out here.....in west phx every where i turn i either see the new lancer or imprezza lol

 

thats pretty wierd. I guess the local mitsu dealer here sucks. i know they only have like 3 lancers and 2 evos on the lot. They are packed full of eclipses and other used cars though.

My mitsu dealer dosent even have evos. They wont get any gts's in until the evo X comes out.

And I dont think I have seen any ads on tv either.

 

I've seen lots of commercials for it. My local dealer even has a huge a$$ sticker on their front windows saying "2008 LANCER".






Yet I haven't seen one in the car lot.

 

I've seen commercials and a few on the road. If I see a few new Lancers on the road in the Detroit area (I've seen 3, which near doubles the Lancer population in Michigan ), that means they must be selling like hotcakes everywhere else.

 

I remember when they first came out, my neighbor had one in his driveway with the invoice still in the window. Guess he didn't get it, I haven't seen it since.
