+1 on a good find!
I got mine a while back for 80 when summit racing was having a closeout sale
(thanks doug
)
great product when combined with the perches... I would not recommend leaving the stock oz perches on there. at least with mine the bolts were all rusted and pretty much snapped off when I was replacing my stock oz perches with my stronger custom ones
oh and I got it powdercoated red

Since I've only ever been under the car near that area once to install my RDD tie-bar, I'm still in the dark about these "perches" that everyone speaks of. I've seen the RRM perches, know how they help, and stuff...but where exactly do they do on our ride? Where do they get installed? Pics?
Thx
Thx
If you look at the description, it's the Reinforced kit (Progress part # 65-1430)... Or the RRM Perches (When I got mine, it come with Progress instruction.)
The sway bar Progress part # is 62-1430.

The perches bolt to the underside of the car. There's one on each side. You'll recognize them because the swaybar is attached to them.
Better yet, look at this. The perch is the thing that the swaybar is bolted to (mostly hidden behind the bracket that holds the bar).

Lay under the rear end of your car (don't even need to jack it up).

good find!
this cheap one doesnt look like it uses side perches?
because the shape of this one doesnt seem to extend to the location where perches usually go.
and it seems like it uses the middle steel plate (where the word "progress" was printed) as the contact point to the car? you can see holes and "perches"-look-alike on the plate

well, from the discription and the fact that when you enlarge the image it says "may not be the image of the actual bar". I was thinking that was just a generic pic of a progress bar but not the actual Lancer bar. I could be wrong.

This is the key part on their webpage:
Mitsubishi 2002-2006 Lancer, incl. OZ - Progress Technology Rear Sway Bar 65.1430 >> Progress Technology Rear Anti-sway bar
I have personally installed this bar and it does not look like the stock image on autosportstyle's webpage. This is what it looks like fully installed with custom perches (with my 2 previous photos and this one, you should be able to get a good idea of the shape of the bar):
