Grant, Momo, etc. steering wheels

what's up, DRIVERS!? As you can tell from my name, I"m not into racing at all. I have an 03 lancer ES and have a question about steering wheels. Momo makes a custom steering wheel for the Evo's, but not the ES model. Can an Evo steering wheel fit on an ES model? I like the Grant and Momo steering wheels, but none fit my car. Anyone know a wheel that can. Anyone know a steering wheel adapter model number that would fit an ES? Hope to hear from ya guys. Thanks.

The stock evo wheel fits, search for an install guide. It's literally a 30 min job with 25 minutes of waiting included. Splash makes a hub that should fit the lancer.

thanks for some input guys. I was looking at the splash hub. it read like this...
"For 2001 - 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 7-9 CT9A
(SRS Airbag Equiped)" when I see things that fit the Evo, does this mean the ES model too?

ok. so you mean to tell me that I buy this hub, take off my stock wheel w/ air bag of course, install any 6 bolt steering wheel, and that's it? do I need any other things to make the turn signals work? or will the signals work, but they won't "click" when you activate them?

The signals are independent of the steering wheel.

so, to sum it up. I need the hub, steering wheel and that's it? the hub should come with all parts I need like the wiring for the horn? or am I wrong? basically I just want an aftermarket wheel. I'm not into racing as said earlier. I just want a custom wheel instead of this UGLY factory wheel. I could care less about an airbag. I just wanted someone to tell me that I can put a Grant, Momo, etc. wheel on an ES model.

I'm not sure if the hub comes with all the things needed for the horn and to avoid a SRS light (since you're getting rid of the airbag). I think by law you cannot remove your airbag, so I would recommend going with the evo wheel.

best bet is to go with the momo steering wheel. if you move quick ROK EVO is selling a nice one pretty cheap:

Why wouldnt you care about an airbag? That thing will save your life, so make sure you get the EVO wheel cause it has one.

And on an even lower level, it's illegal to remove. I'd care about something that would cost me a LOT of money in tickets...
