Part number request

I couldn't find a part number request thread outside Evo General and don't see anything related so i'll just ask here and hope i'm not just blind.

I need the part number/ approximate price for the piece that joins the mirror (driverside) to the door. It's for an '03 Lancer ES with power mirrors, unpainted (hence: ES). I broke my mirror off today and need that part. Also, does a new wiring harness need to be purchased as well? It looks as though it's designed to break off cleanly as well...

MR633956 - driver's side.

MR633957 - passenger's side.

these came up as "yellow" since i used my VIN under CAPS. the whole mirror assembly is listed as one piece--with the glass listed as a different piece. while the color may not be correct the pieces are, and they are for a car with power mirrors.

you will definitely be better off trying to get this part off a wrecked lancer/evo... it might run a little cash if ordered from .

if you don't want to publicly post your VIN you can PM it to me and i will check the part number listing for your car specifically.

I can get you a part number, but I'm not exactly sure what part it is you're talking about. Can you circle it on a picture or something?

Here circle it on this so I make sure I get the right one...

it sounded like he was asking for the part labeled as #5 on that diagram.

Crap, I thought it might be sold as a whole piece and not just half/half. I saw on autoparts.net or whatever it's sold as the entire mirror for $63.00. Why replace the whole mirror if just that one part is broken!? ahah damn I really wish I hadn't broken it now...

here's a pic

edit: it's broken at the part where the mirror would swivel in when you collapse it. The mirror itself is intact, it's broken at the part that attaches to the door.

Well, too bad I type too slow...lol. Well if it helps any, mitsubishiparts.net shows EACH mirror as 157.94. You'd be better off buying them used or getting a set of aftermarket ones from ebay. I have a set from ebay that I was actually pretty happy with. The seller was motorenergy.

you could always try some good old fashioned epoxy!

$63 isn't as bad as i was expecting... the ES ones aren't color-matched or painted anyway, right?

definitely check out local junkyards.

also check out: http://www.uneedapart.com i got some parts for my old scooby there. well, through them.
