I'd have to say your crazy. The RRM 02-03 lancer looks exceptionally good but a stock 03 vs a stock 08 is no contest

 

Thats actually a SCLC members car. But I think 02-03 stock or modded looks better then the new crap box. imo. The performance of the new lancers stock for stock is 10 fold but the interior and exterior sucks. I hate the direction companys are going with cars nowadays. look like garbage. Im so glad I have my 03. Wouldnt drive any other non evo Lancer.

I personally cant stand anything about the new lancer... how the hood slopes to the almost traingular front end with those retarded headlights off a dodge. The rear end looks like trash. sits 100 feet into the air and isnt wide enouph to compensate. I thought my 03 was tall... The new things are like SUV height. I cant stand it. Also cant stand reflectors on the rear bumper. Dont like how the windshield just flows up into the hood and back down. looks like a frickin beetle. The taillights make me wanna puke. Straight off a Mazda. Companys need to keep the different models seperate. not mateing every car to make mutts. and the integrated brake light into the trunk... Crap..

The 2008 Lancer is the best Lancer ever in every single possible way.

 

Oh man, a 02 OZ that has aftermarket stuff on it and its lowered with different front end being compared to a relatively stock base level 08? Yea, thats similar...

As a former OZ owner, Ill take an OZ grade (GTS) 08 hands down...

 

I prefer the 02-03 styling but I'm not diametrically opposed to the new model. I'm sure it would grow on me like the 04-06 did with time.

 

i've got to say i love the style of the 02-03s... they look more aggressive and sharp i think.

i never liked the grille that's on the 02 in the picture, but other than that it's pretty good looking.

The 08 has aggressive and taut lines. Much better than the previous gens IMO.

THE STOCK 08 IS WAY BETER THAN THE STOCK 02.. but the moded 02 vs stock 08 is way better
