Shift knobs for AT

i was lookin into replacing the stock knob on my AT but all the auto replacements are ugly lol. is it possible to fit a manual shift knob on an auto? i know there is a how-to about this on here but in there they said there was still a little problem. is it not possible to make this happen without any problems at all?

My 02 was a manual.
You cannot replace the CVT knob on the 2008.

So YDNRC.

I'm keeping my accessories stock; no sense in removing what still looks good and does it's job. The leather softens up nicely if you work at it...

I did start a thead about changing the CVT knob. Another member posted pictures out of the Factory Service Manual. Unfortunately, it's a "made for each other" type of situation, so I can't just buy any knob I want and install.
