Thumbs up Daytime running lights

Our U.S. Lancer do have daytime running lights, so to speak. I run my headlights at all times and never shut them off. The headlights are preprogrammed to shut off after the key is pulled from the ignition and after the door is opened. However if you need to use your headlights for some quick lighting at night, the lights will continue to stay on after the key is pulled as long as the headlights are first turned off then on and the car isn't started. I dont beleive this info is in the manual. There isn't any difference in the life of the bulbs either. I've had my car almost 2 years and like I said, I've never turned them off! Having daytime lights just feels a little classier to me.

If you're like me, you'll be giddy as a school girl when you realize you never have to touch you headlights again. It's not that big of a deal, but it's kinda like finding a 20 dollar bill in your dirty laundry.

I tend not to run the headlights during the day, as it dims the clock.

Mine have real daytime running lights. Cause they're required in Canada (=

True. Personally though, I don't think I've ever even looked at the clock. I wear a watch. No biggy for me.
