last weekend my cousin was asking when the evo x come out. the mitsu salesman said they will get one in for jan for the preview. well before i went insde a group of kids outside 2 guys and 3 chicks. one of the guys (my age 19-21) just bought a 08 lancer. this is our conversation:
08lancerguy: ''is that the old lancer?''
lancer2show: "yup, its an 05"
08lancerguy: '' doesn't your car come stock with only 120hp?'' (him and his guy friend were laughing)
lancer2show: ''ya its slow i know, doesn't your car only come with 152hp?''
(the guy gets pissed off)
08lancerguy: ''well its faster than your piece of s***, my car comes with a 10yr warranty. why do you have 2 radiators for some underpowered car? does it add 10 more horses and does it cool your engine by -10 degrees or something?''
lancer2show: "no all together it adds over 100 with my turbo and i really doubt it cools my engine -10 degrees. the purpose of that ''radiator'' which is my intercooler is to cool the compressed air coming out of the turbo, as the turbo spins it compresses the air to get a more dense charge of air into the engine, as the air is compressed it heats up. The acts like a radiator and releases the heat to the intercooler which exchanges the heat to the air going past the intercooler. i guess you really dont know much about cars and warranties are for pu$$ys.''

i get pulled over for speeding about a week after the new tint law gets passed...i think its now 50%fronts 35% back windows..and its been in the paper every day saying how police are cracking down and giving tickets and possibly peeling it off on the spot..
i have 5% tint all around
cop:hows it goin..got you on laser goin 15 over..
me:yeaaaa i know (lookin at radar detector which picked it up at the last second)
cop takes license and goes back to his car for a lil bit..comes back
cop:ur tints lookin a lil dark here too..
me: oh yea it was a present from my brother..
cop:hmm..i like it..have a goodnight
i didnt get a ticket for anything i was soo happy i thought i was gunna get ticket for speeding and tint and i didnt get noothing

Called Mitubishi dealership to order all weather floor mats. Gave parts guy make/model (2006 lancer evolution 9). He said which model. I said 9. He says there is no 9 model only MR, RS, and I X. He didn't know they were roman numeruls for the number 9. I just said it's and I X. Hope he hasn't worked there long.
