94k lancer to trade or not to trade?

Would anyone trade in a 03 lancer es (auto) with 94,000 miles on it? And is it even worth putting any money in?

an 03 and already 94k thats crazy lol. i would say its really not worth putting money into. either trade it in or like sly said keep it so u have a daily driver or winter car. cus honestly even trading it in isn't gonna give u much but i guess something is better than nothing right

I have an 02 OZ w/ 135k on it... paid off and runs perfectly so I feel like a trade in would almost be a waste...

You won't get **** for trading it. Either sell it privately or keep it as a beater. Selling privately shouldn't be too hard since so many people are looking for more economic cars.

I agree with all of you but I'm still making payments on the car. I probably should take into the dealership and get it looked at. I keep the oil change and tires rotated but I think a full check up wouldn't hurt. So, whats and inexpensive project car around the same performance or better than a 03 lancer es auto?

Well almost anything would be a better project then a Lancer Auto. It really depends on what you want to do with it? ie: show, handling (autocross), speed, whatever. The older B13 Sentra SE-R's (although hard to find) are great project cars for fairly cheap and the SR-20 motors are super strong! Same with the older G20's. Any car that is cheap to buy and has readily available and cheap parts is a good project to start with. But an Auto Lancer is not a very good base for a car to invest money into because it will take thousands to get it fast and just as much to make it look good enough for any show. If your looking to sell it go privately. Dealers rip you a big one on trade ins. Trade ins are only worht it if you own the car or are lazy and don't want to deal with trying to sell it.

A civic is pretty cheap to mod/maintain and you can get a lot of performance for very little money. Talk to SLVROZ_03 if you want to know more.

Your right about those old sentra's are powerful I saw one for less miles then my car and twice the hp and cost less then my lancer. I kinda see why you don't see a whole lot of lancers around. I wonder whats it gonna take to get the kind of aftermarket support.

True, I want to mod my car but its and auto with 94k on it and I'm trying to find a ralliart but from what I searched the ralliart is rare! I checked ebay and autotrader.

Yes usually you would have to take a little road trip to get one. I think its a good thing that nobody wants to get rid of them.

Your exactly right. Just look at the honda civic hatchback how many of those do you see for sell? And if you do see them for sale they have either high miles or no motor.

I would take one with no motor and just completely re-do it. THEN I would sell my lancer. I personally am going to try to stick with the lancer until I can afford an evo.
