Question 2005 Lancer OZ Rally ..... Is this a good price?

Its a Silver 2005 Lancer, Oz Rally....

52k Miles, AT, transferable warranty on the car up to 60k miles.

The current (2nd) owner purchased it with about 14K miles about 2.5 years ago.

The car is clean and in almost perfect condition on the outside.
Inside as well is very clean no stains/dirt just the usual dust.

The car has not been in any accidents. Clean VIN.

Car is stock.

They will leave the DVD navigation system in the car, with an LCD that comes out of the dash and the car did have an alarm and 20% tints put on.

Took it to my mechanic he found no major issues with the car....but
It does need new brakes like, YESTERDAY...

And air filter / cabin filter and maybe a tire rotation and he did advise to also change the spark plugs, which did not appear to be the right ones for the car.

All simple stuff....

Any ways, Im getting very close to purchasing this car.... and I wanted to know what you all thought of the price $8750 from a private seller...

I have looked at KBB.com and seen the price... but i want some opinion from people who actually own and know about the car.

Thank in advance for your time!!!

yeah man i'd say that's a great price. I got mine for 6 grand, it's 3 years older and had 100k miles on it... it did have a kenwood system though... still I think it's a good deal.

congrats. 3 years ago (2005) I bought my car, an '02 with 70k miles on it for $4900.

Make sure that car is in good shape. Obviously somebody didn't take car of it to well and didn't know what they were doing due to the brakes, wrong spark plugs etc. For a car that new there pretty much should be nothing wrong with it at all.
