You can try something to remove paint. rub it on and try to rub the paint off. You may screw up the chrome finish which is what gives you the light output. You will have to look into products to remove the paint w/o hurting the plasty chrome. If you cant do that. You will be needing new headlights.

Most of the stuff that removes paint will melt your plastic. If its not too dry yet, you might try to gently wipe it with a rag dampened, not dripping, with some type of solvent. The plastic may survive since its chromed. Other wise you can always paint it with silver paint

it is going to diminish light output by A LOT if the headlight backing is not chromed. You could try sanding the black off. taping it off and painting it with chrome paint. Best thing i can think off.
Ok so I just called wal'mart and they told me they are about to close in about 10 min My headlights are all torn apart and I can't get to wal-mart in enogh time to get chrome spray paint I go back to work on the 26th and when I sanded the headlight housing parts of it was chrome some parts gray I'm frustrated but I have to wait I guess until after christmas to go to the store I have to put the lights back to together to be at work on time if I go early morning.
