I paid a little over $22k for a fully loaded GTS after tax, title, tags. I put $5000 down, payments are about $364.90 a month. To be honest, I feel that the GTS was a waste compared to the ES. The only difference is a body kit and a moderate suspension upgrade that you can buy from RRM for less money (and the rrm suspension package would be better anyway)

Yeah but I bet you took a loan for 72 months where he took it for 48 months, difference of 3 years And with Mitsubishi after he will pay off his loan he will still have his bumper to bumper warranty, in Honda the warranty expires after 3 years...

Anyway, back to the topic, I think the car to buy and MOD is definitely the manual version of DE (which is the lightest Lancer of them all) and I hear Mitsubishi is having problems selling them so I bet you could get a really good deal on it especially that it costs around $14.5K to begin with. In my area the dealership actually has a $1K markup on all GTS models so chances of bringing the price down look a lot worse (due to higher demand) than on the DE model.

Wow the GTS sounds pretty expensive for what it gives.. for that reason sounds like I might as well get a used VIII or IX

YUP
All this money on a lease was a waste.
You could probably get a 3 series BMW for that price on a lease.
