Why are the prices for HID's, rain sensing wipers, etc not listed anywhere?

 

2009? or 2008?

 

2009 since those will be a 2.4L.

 

didnt see that. i heard it has a bit more power? when's the release?

Because those will not be available on the 2009 Lancer's.

 

gessh.. ppl are soo gullible.. they read someone on the web and believe its true... if u want hids, rain sensing wipers, and neat stuff.. look at other companies...and dont look at economy cars... i highly doubt ur gonna find those accessories...

 

But I've seen videos of actual Mitsubishi reps stating those options would be available....

I DID just realize he says "as late availability" .....maybe that means they are going to put out a 2009.5 or something?

Also.....the direct competitor to the Lancer (Mazda 3) has HID's available in its Touring Edition, which is pretty much the equivalent to the GTS

 

Maybe only the USDM market then? Cause the 2009 GTS unveiled at the Montreal Auto Show for Canada didnt include those options

 

Ya well Lancers in other regions have ALL of those features, just not North America I guess because they dont sell enough here

haha well then that sucks...doesnt make much sense to me that they would announce it and then not offer it but whatever...I've decided I am going to get an 08 instead anyway.....I dont want to wait 6 months to get an 09

 

Yeah I know the Lancers in the Middle East and Asia get the HID's, rain sensing wipers and all that stuff but I'm 99.9% sure that NA version isnt going to get it this year

 

USDM always gets jipped on everything; what else is new...

 

Australian lancers get all that too if i'm not mistaken.

 

As far as rain sensing wipers go, from what I know, they will be basically available in every GTS (even base GTS trim) so they won't require any package. And as far as HIDs, I don't have any inforamtion.
