just browsing through my manual and I didn't know this and possibly others don't know it as well.

Instead of letting your fuel cap hang against the body when refueling, on the top of the fuel door you can stick your cap onto it.

Just an interesting tid-bit

the best part is i was talking to my GF, and i said you know how my fuel cap dangles on the side when filling, and before she even let me finish, she said yeah and you put it on your fuel door to hold it...LOL

Made me embarrassed as a mechanic. ROTFL

Our new Nissan has a gas door cap holder, but the ex-lancer OZ didn't. I always thought that was really gay!

 

People forget in some states you are not allowed to pump your own gas(I did). I say this because I flamed someone else for starting a similar thread awhile ago and forgot this little important bit of information.

Congrats on finding your gas cap holder thing-a-ma-jig!!

 

gotta check out the e-bay link for the gas cap holder (up 2 posts) on 02-08's I notified him that I had an 08 and it had it built in and he/she was quite appreciative that I notified them.
