Please read and advice

I went to EZ Lube for an oil change two days ago, and they said that I needed to replace my power steering fluid. So I did that and the total cost was like $120. So today I popped the hood and notice that my PS fluid is like an inch below the minimum line, and my wiper fluid is empty (which they were also meant to fill). So I called them and told them and they said come in and we'll top it off and give me a discount on the next oil change. They charged me for work they did not properly do. I'm gonna go in there and try to get them to do the job right and also get a full refund. What can I say to make this happen? I was thinking about threatening to contact the BBB or someone higher in their company. Any advice?

Arguing or making threats doesn't really get you anywhere. Be mature about the situation and speak with the manager. Ask him how he is willing to make it right. If you don't think it's enough, politely tell him it's unacceptable and you would like a refund. Stuff like that. Blowing up doesn't win you any points with the manager, trust me. If he respects you, he will attempt to treat you right. But only if you show him the same respect. You're all adults.

That's very good advice, thank you for that. I'm so pissed about it that I'm not thinking reasonably.

Usually if you just talk to a manager they try their best to help the customer but being a bootiehole to them just gives off a unprofessional impression. I dont like it when ppl yell at me at work but if some customers are looking to work out a problem in a calm manner then i would be more willing to help.

Just giving my 2 cents

Go in calm. The more of *** you act towards them, the less likely they will help.

Also changing the p/s fluid yourself is almost as easy as an oil change, they probably dont really flush it. Just take a hose off, drain and refill.

he got his oil changed too, just go in and tell them to fix everything for you.
i find it better to do all car work yourself (changing all the fluids and replacing stuff) or get a close friend to help you, many times you get a mechanic to fix something, and you end up with more problems then you started with.

If you go there frequently for your oil changes & such, bring up the fact that you are a loyal customer & would like to continue being a patron & would be very sad to have to take your business elsewhere. Be calm, collected, & state the absolute facts, no need for any hostility.
