If you've been looking for CEL Eliminators here they are
Our old friend BigJoshRacing has his own website (www.bigjoshracing.com) and is advertising universal MIL eliminators. Im buying one right now and I know more than a few of you are looking for them. I think it is ironic that he sells them since he swore up and down on the forums that the Kamikaze header does not cause a CEL, but it is an option for those of us looking.

Ok people I have installed the BigJoshRacing CEL eliminator. I cant tell you if it works or not because you got to unhook the battery cuz you are soldering electronics and that resets the light anyway. But so far so good and if it trips on again I'll let you all know. BTW soldering underneath you car is a pain in the a-hole.

forgive if this sounds dumb to you guys but im new to modding my lancer. on one of my previous cars. to keep the CEL off after installing the header was to weld a o2 senser bung behind the second cat, and put the o2 sensor that went to the pre cat there. couldnt that theoreticly work for the lancer?

no it has to be close to the header to get the corect heat reading to dont forget that those things monitor EGT also
your gonna get a diferent reading down pipe then you will by the header
you cant get around throwin the CEL if you get rid of your pre cat there is no way around it
easiest thing to is to friggin pull the bulb out
youll know if you have a problem (if its a problem worth knowing about)

or you could just build your own o2 simulator for under $15 like i did. works great!
