Ugh I wish. I AM looking into a WRX tho and by the time I get bored with that it will be time for me to finally get an EVO. But even the WRX is a couple months down the road if everything works out.

in Canada the SS is the supercharged version but in 08 they dropped the SS and changed it to sport with the turbo. Is that different from the US??

Correct, the SS is turbocharged, it's pushing I believe 240-260hp, not sure which it is but it's a potent little bugger. Has bucket seats that are very nicely done and a boost gauge, comes with a different body kit and some nice 18s, all for around 22-25.

The mitsubishi dealership refused to believe me that the chevrolet dealer was offering me 6250, as a matter a fact, the mitsu dealer was a *******, the sales manager was a down right ***** to my wife and myself. He said, since you say they're offering you 6250 for your car I'll offer you 5,000 for yours, then he tried to get us the BARE BASE model lancer, the center console didn't even have a arm rest, it was just the bucket, it was insulting, to top it off, a whole $500 loyalty rebate......wooo.....lets sign the papers! not... Mitsubishi hasn't been to friendly with me and I can truthfully say, I'll never own another one again, even if they offer me a evo for 10k.

the hhr had a 2700 rebate
they gave me 6250 for my car
and best of all, they treated my wife and i with respect.

I don't know what it is with Mitsu dealerships lately but they've been gaining quite the reputation for treating people like crap. If they're not careful they're going to push themselves right out of the market.

Which dealership was this? I really was ripped off by Mark Mitsubishi in Scottsdale, and the overall buying experience I had was poor. I wish I had been asked to take one of those customer service surveys.

ack, ya mark mitsubishi is a dick.

i no longer live in arizona, so i didn't update my location, i live back in houston.

only mitsubishi joint i ever had any luck with was the service center in mark mitsubishi in scottsdale, and one mitsubishi joint in glendale. as far as purchasing, the mitsubishi dealer i bought my lancer from was here in houston McGinnis Mitsubishi which I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.
