i traded my 03 lancer oz rally ed in finally!

they gave me 2250 more then what it was worth, it needed a new clutch, had body damage, cracked windshield and some other items.

i was going to trade it in but only got offered $3,000
which is really cheap
considering the exterior/interior is in good condition
and it had about 65k

 

mine had 81k miles on it, they offered me 6250 for it. basically i kept messing with the dealer for two weeks before they offered me that, originally they offered me 5k for it. it was deffinitely in need of some work tho...

yea i was only able to get $5500 out of mine as well..that was with under 60k

The wife and I picked up a 2008 Chevy HHR, I already have one toy which is a 07 Nissan Xterra which is a weekend offroad toy, it doesn't get driven hardly on the street, it's a offroad beast, the lancer was just dying...the HHR gets beyond awesome gas mileage, 45 bucks fills the tank and gives up around 460-500 miles per tank, it's got nice room, has some nice features and is still a bit peppy, i believe 153hp stock.

 

Wow the dealer has been calling me for about a month now since I went in to check out a GTS saying they WANT my lancer and will give me more than its worth for it. Hmmm, maybe I should go see just HOW MUCH they are willing to give me.

 

Kelly Blue Book puts you between $3500 and $4500 . . . but dealerships don't use the Blue Book, they use the Black Book (guess how it compares ).

If you're lucky, they'll probably offer you $4k. But that's just my guess.

 

My dealership has an "SS" one sitting out front. I wonder if it's actually SC'd or not? I definitely like the overall look versus the PT. Black is sexy too!
