tradin in auto to get stick

i have to share my car with my sister...which is one ofthe reasons we got auto in the first place. but she is only home like for a week a year so that is no big deal. i am trying to convince my dad to do this trade in.

points so far: we wont lose any money
-lauren(my sister) wants to learn stick now neways
-we will lose that hole in the trunk by not getting a spoiler when i put on the evo 7 one.
-we wil lget white(the color he likes the best)

any other points i can use to convince him because he is teetering between yes and no?

Better gas mileage on stick vs. auto.

Driving a MT u need to be more attentive, plus, you have more control of your vehicle, thus, it's safer.

Guys who drive stick won't call you a *****. j/p

I don't think there are really that many more points to use to convince a parent. You pretty much covered the bases.

Hope you aren't buried in your car that may be a drawback. Can't fondle girlfriend and shift at the same time. Can't hold beer and cigarette because of shifting. Gotta replace burn't out clutch. Switching cd's can be difficult when changing gears. Manual tranny's aren't worth as much as auto's when trading. Hard to talk on cell phone with manual.

ahhhh u gave points for the wrong side! haha everything ive done to my car i can take off. speakers headunit, spoiler, rotors, evo dash piece.

stick is more fun to drive, but thats noit the only reason. so many more cooler things can be done with stick. better shift knobs haha cai's, and eventually INTERCOOLED TURBO but im not tellin my dad that yet haha.

How about, in case of drivetrain failure the manual has a clutch to burn through which costs nothing compared to a destryoed auto tranny.
