DIY SRI - what to make a bracket from?

I just bought a K&N cone filter and a maf adapter from ebay. I cleaned the throttle body and installed the intake

It sounds great but it kinda wiggles around in the engine bay and knocks into the master cylinder... i can hear it in the cabin in first gear... What should i secure it with?

Post pics if you have any! I want a clean way to mount it. Thankss

Anything. Hell, I've just used zip-ties to hold intakes in place in the past.

Try the parts stores. They usually have DIY parts, so they might have a metal bracket you can use. Often, you can just bend it to fit your needs.

Home made bracket yo!
they sell different sized brackets at Home Depots.
Stick one on the pipe, and pin it up somewhere.

you can make your own brace with some aluminum. bolt it to the MAF adapter and there's actually a little spot from where the stock airbox was attached that is a perfect place to throw the bolt to anchor the whole thing to.

yea i got it mounted too lazy to go out and take a pic right now but it's a bracket that mounts to a ground bolt near the strut tower and attaches to my maf adapter.... i love the sound of my sri !

I stupidly forgot to attach my maf plug after i put the bracket on leaving me with a check engine light..... really freaked me out cause i just did my timing belt/ water pump and drive belts....i thought i screwed up something with the timing belt

I disconnected the batttery for about 20 mins to clear the code.....gotta reset my radio stations now =(
