so with my new job i'm driving on the interstate every day, which means i go south in the morning, and north in the afternoon after work. So both going to and from work, the entire way there i have the sun glaring in my driving side window.
the problem is that it sits outside of the range of the sun visor, so when i turn it to cover my driver side window, the sun is still shining through the space between the visor and b-pillar.
anyone got any ideas on how to solve this problem? Are there are replacement sun visors for our car that have those "pull out extension" thingy's?
anything would be good, cos it's getting very very annoying, not to mention dangerous cos i can't see

I was interested in this, too. I found some extensions that are kind of a crappy add-on, don't know how well they work: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-A...spagenameZWD1V
and then there's this guy that looks better: http://www.theshadebuddy.com/howtobuy.html
let me know what you end up trying

This reminds me when I failed the written portion of the driving exam. There was a question which read:
When driving down the road, if the sun is in your face do you
a. Pull off to the side of the road
b. Put on sunglasses
c. Pull down the sunvisor
d. all of the above
Picked C and I got the question wrong. My rationale was not everyone would have sunglasses in their car, and who the h3ll pulls over because the sun is in their eyes. The correct answer was D
Get some shades- high quality ones.

I drive south for ~30minutes during my commute to school. The Lancer's downfall are it's sun visors haha.. I have learned to drive with my left hand up and back between thevisor and door frame by the window in the empty space the sun shines thru, if you can picture that
... But after each redlight I have to wait until I can get up to 4th gear otherwise I would be shifting with no hand to steer.

if you don't have a problem with going a little "ghetto" a quick fix could just be sticking a piece of cardboard up there... but if you're anything like me... you don't want to just tape crap places, but I guess if you're desperate...
Wear a hat or visor, thug style tilted down and to the left! lol. Sorry, I did that one time and just thought about sharing my story. You could always tint your windows and keep 'em up but that would cost some money. Steal a tray from McDonald's (or a fast food establishment of your choosing) and ghetto rig it to your B pillar.
Well, if tint is out of your budget, this probably is too... but you could always take your visors to an upholstery shop and have them extended and recovered. Probably at least $50 though.
I would do them for you, but I don't live in FL right now.
