Hi I am new here, And I am wondering, I am getting a 09 Lancer GTS soon and want to know can I get it to match the soon ralliart or not. This is my first car and I will be getting mods in the near future. I just want to know can I get this car 200+ hp or even 230+

I will be easy on you. Turbo. If this is your first car, learn to drive it before you mod it.

Well it will be the first car I buy. I have a car but its my dads. I really cant wait to get a GTS

The simple question to answers like this is that you can do near anything with enough money. Easiest way to get 230 would be to throw a turbo at it, but that's expensive. You could do it without a turbo, too, but that's even more expensive. If you know that's how much power you want, then buy a car better suited towards that goal, such as an SRT-4 or Mazdaspeed 3. It'll save you money, be more reliable, and a stock turbo car is a better starting point if you want to mod for power.

 

True I hear that, But problem is the lancer is in my price range. With that I can get a turbo I would be happy for a long time

 

but the problem with that is a Lancer GTS + aftermarket turbo is = to or very damn close to the cost of a Ralliart, but the GTS won't have all the benefits of all the standard equipment the Ralliart comes with....

 

Troof, you'll still be missing the AWD, the better brakes, the stronger engine, etc.

 

I got my Lancer GTS on the 19th of this month and it is my first car (i'm 18). I have been relatively happy with it other then the fact that I was lied to by one of the sales managers at mark mitsu when he agreed to 21k OTD w/ gap, ttl over the phone. My fault that I was tranced by the dealership and couldn't get up and walk away though.

 

Well Ive been talking with parents(yes parents about it) they said what ever you want. So i guess i will go with the ralliart, but problem is does anybody know when its supposed to come out since i would like a car before college.

 

The last press report I saw on the Ralliart said late Spring/early Summer.

It should come out before the fall semester begins...

 

No firm dates yet. Sometime this summer; later summer. The longer we go without hearing anything from Mitsubishi, the more I think it won't arrive until the other 09's do, which will be around August/September.

 

I think i can wait for that, also if it comes out around that time give me more time to get the money

 

what type of work do you do that will help you save up $10,000 by the late summer?
unless your parents are RICH, or you make $15.00/hr, it will be reeaallyyy hard to make payments, insurance, gas, maintenance.. think about it
