i just went to the track today ran a 15.9 @86 something i think bone stock i got an 09 gts cvt
it was my first time at the track

 

The Cvt(ES) is slower running a 16.4 with Intake , Exhaust and drop .
Trapping 89 also .
60 ft 2.6

Are you saying the 08-10 model over the 02-03 ? Because i have both cars an 08 and 02 .

All i have to say about both of them is that i like the 02 WAAYYY better

 

were you shifting or did you leave it in D?
This just goes to show how much slower the PZEV lancers are, I could barley break into 17's in mine (Also a GTS CVT).
I was too embarrassed that a Pontiac Sunfire was running better times than me, so I never went back in my lancer, lol.

 

i tried in D but most of my runs including my best one was in sport mode this was the first time i used the paddle shifters so much

Ignorant post. First of all, Jehuty drives a 7th gen. Second, he was not making an attack on the new Lancer, only making a joke that the new Lancers are faster... so he was in fact kidding

Also, there are some FAST 02/03 model Lancers out there so I don't know why they can't be compared

And this is only my opinion, but I would take my Lancer's style over a new gen any day
