Unhappy ECU replace by dealer!!

Well i dont know if you guys remember but i had a post about a month ago about my SES light. well i took it to the dealer a they erased the code the nest dey the light comes on again , I took it bach and they said that it was an EVAP valve so they replaced it, the next day the deam light came on again and i took it AGAIN and they said that it was a little EVAP leak and that they had to oder a special tool that they didnt have and to take it back the next week. ok so i did and now they are saying that that was not the problem and now they are saying that it maight the ICU that came out defective. Now my car is a the dealer and im riding my biken that is b-**** mean im thinking about going over to the dealer and fihgt to see if I can get some money of that.

I don't really understand the story...I doubt you'll get money out of them though, especially if you have another mode of transport. As long as they fix it under warranty and don't take forever, I don't think you're getting anything out of them.

Threaten them with the lemon law.. they actually already owe you a new lancer i believe.. might want to check on it..

I think if it is the 3rd time for the same problem it is considered a lemon. Tell them to give you a new lancer.. or just some hush $$$.

EDIT: thought he owned an evo.

why would they even consider giving an evo for a lancer? that doesn't make any sense. besides if the warranty work is going to take more than a few hours aren't you eligible for a rental/loaner as stated in your warranty?

Ohh, This thread is misleading. I was thinking that you bought the RRM Reflashed ECU and then something happened to your car. You then took it to the dealer and they replaced it with a new one thinking that that was part of the problem.
