Unless you can prove it was the same problem 3 times, you probably don't have much to go with. But at the least, you should come out with a bunch of free oil changes and stuff. But yeah, if it's the same problem a 3rd time, you can ask to talk to Mitsu about the lemon law. They shold have given you a "ladder" for you to deal with, starting at the dealership, then Mitsu, then mediator or something. Good luck!

 

Actually if you read your local lemon law you will find out that this is most likely not an issue for a trade or new lancer. The way a lemon law works is if it is something that can cause serious injury or death pertaining to the issue. Since it is just an ECU problem they will not reimburse you anything and they will say that is what your warranty is for. Good luck and I hope the swap fixes your issue.
