Thumbs down Three concerns with my brand new car

I bought an '09 GTS about a month and a half ago. There are three problems that I've noticed ever since purchasing the car. Thought I'd share with you guys and see if any of you have experienced anything similar:

1. Driverside side skirt peeling off the body in the front, by about a 1/8 of an inch. This was noticed about a 3-4 weeks after purchase,

2. Horn is not centered in the steering wheel. It is moreso towards the left, leaving a large gap on the right side. Noticed within the same week of purchase,

3. Driverside window is slightly falling off track, causing it to make a cracking sound when opening and closing the window. This is the most annoying one of the three. I hate opening my window right now!! This only started to happen less than 2 weeks ago.

Though this is all under warranty and will all be fixed, it's not leaving me a good impression of the quality of the car.

Eh, so you have had a couple of problems .. nothing that can't be fixed. You are lucky it's not something worse.

The first two you should have noticed when you picked the car up and gotten fixed right away, the last one can happen to anyone. Just swing by and tell 'em, no biggie.

Seriously?

Travel to other forum sites on new cars, they ALL have their issues. It's not like you bought a $50k BMW or mercedes, its a low-midrange car. Even the expensive ones have issues.

Ive been a Toyota/Nissan tech for 3 years now. You wouldnt beleive all the recalls and TSBs there are Nissans. When the Altima Hybrid first came out there were alot with 2-4 Recalls when they were shipped. So your doing recalls on a car with 1 mi on it. There were a run of Titans mid year that had front axle flange bolts fall out and the inner CV fall and hit the ground while your driving!

Hell when the Scion TCs first came out they were having panarama roofs getting lodged and busting the whole roof that is glass. IT happens to all manufacturers just hope you dont get a Monday or Friday car.

My Nissan had so many problems I finally decided to ditch it for my Lancer.

But back to the main topic, every car has these stupid issues. My Maxima had man many issues, most serious. My Mother's Camry has minor issues like the trunk latch broke twice with the trunk open so it would not close, and the sunroof has wind noise at any speed. My friend's tC has a mysterious electrical issue, sometime the car wont let him use the passagerside window, or the sunroof.

My point is everyone has dumb issues, but usually they stop after the car gets a little older. My Maxima was the exception ..

1.5hrs later. My car came back with problems 2 and 3 fixed. They'll need more time to look at the skirt to see if it's actually in warranty or due to a collission (oh hell no). I'm gonna go back and do that some other day. Had no time today.

It's funny you say that. My sister just bought a brand new 328 xi almost loaded. Not even one week after delivery her husband broke down in it. Some kind of electrical issue with the fan motor or something.

All cars have issues.
