These Recaros weight only 3KG for each (approximately 6.6lb), which is only half of those on the previous EVOs

Too bad we won't get those exact Recaros since Americans are too fat for them.

Look at the seats in the GTA you may like those. One of those seats will make it to the states.

While we're o the subject of seats...

The '02s have the most uncomfortable seats ever.

What are some reasonably priced aftermarket seats that aren't really ricey, good quality, and light.

These seats look cool and are cheap - $550 for the pair. What do you think.
...and they have free shipping.

I'm a real big fan of their Targa RS seat.

Not bad - $320/per.

I wonder if they will fit... If not, the A4's are slightly smaller with the leather high wear patches which are cool and functional in their own respect. But for touring, I would go with the extra 2" of width for comfort.

Corbeau would have brackets for our cars too right? versus a universal type?

Corbeau has tons upon tons of brackets and yes, they have an application for the Lancer but at 80'ish a pop, I'd be tempted to do the seats one at a time.

those R1 seats are really bad quality. The material is nowhere NEAR Recaros/Sparcos. I've seen aftermarket seats that use the same Sparco fabric with the similar Torino style, and they're much better than the R1s.
