Ok heres the thing about the sun roof some one before mentioned having to cut the cross bar in the roof and that is wrong. Well its wrong if you go with an electric pop up sunroof which personally i think looks better anyways. As for price i was quoted 650 for the largest pop up that a company called Classic Soft Trim installs. They are an nation wide company and im pritty sure they have a good record. Although I got the better price becasue i also had them install the custom black and yellow leather in my car. So im not sure what the price would be, probably only a little bit more. And as far as the leather goes I absolutly love it. Everyone stares at it and gives great compliments on it. It also seems to hold me just fine as long as i have my seat belt on and its tight. They also replace the cloth in the doors with leather. I would recomend trying to get in touch with them. Their number is 1 (800) 460-0640 their web site is www.classicsofttrim.com hey and if you get it done let me know how you like it rallystyle2002@aol.com

Eh...with a claim like that could you please tell us how putting a hole in your roof doesn't go through the crossbar?

I'm sure those people looking for installs would like a reason as well. Me...I'm just baffled. Does anyone have a pic of the crossbars and/or the chassis? Gonna take a look at the naked RMR chassis and try to see what exactly was meant.

the cross bar is directly in the middle the sun roof goes infront of it the crossbar. then the glass pops up and goes over top of the roof.

an electric pop out sunroof? so do you press a button and it automatically does it? if i could get a nice sunroof without having to worry about cutting those bars...it's starting to get a lot more appealing, thanks rallystyle!

does anyone else agree/disagree with this method perhaps being the best if i (or anyone) wanted a sunroof?

2003 OZ's? are they gonna be better than our 2002? I can't have some new OZ kick my *** in a race! They better not have more hp! (ours is pretty ****ty... 120? eww) I'm working on changing that little problema on mine! (that is, once I pay for my OUTSTANDING ticket) oops. Is the body gonna be any diffrent besides an optional sunroof?
I don't know Kara. There are never any details on the ordering
system, it just shows what year it is, what model it is, and what package
it is i.e. (03 Lancer-O.Z. Rally w/sunroof&spoiler) We have been told
that the car will look different though, haven't heard anything about
a different engine lately.

I got a ticket the day after I bought my Lancer. The officer was real nice about though, he was telling me my car kicked *** the entire time.
