I would say they could make it cheaper by using cheaper projectors. s2k are damn near the hottest projector on the market right now

$450 wouldn't be that bad of a price for nice quality, nice looking easy to install projectors. I was getting quotes of $200-$400 for universal HIDS that still had DRL problems and were dangerous to other drivers

I think they are gonna be a lot more then $450. I talked to my local and they said $1041 cdn for EACH headlight. Those are the projectors off the 09 RA. IMO I think we would be lucky to get quality projectors for half that. And they charge $400 for RA tails which is the exact same thing as the stock ones except for the color.

That's what I'm saying and probly what RRM is saying. They can do it, anyone can but who is going to pay $450+ for the headlights? RRm is going to be left out to dry with headlights sitting around while everyone is saying, "Man those look sweet! I wish I had the money. Maybe next christmas or my birthday in 6 months". They can't make money off of them with people saying that. Search around, they were actually going to do some projectors but with trying to fight the ECU and people playing around it just wasn't worth it.

Now I'm sure if they had maybe 10 preorders and only did them in group buys on maybe 10 or so I'm positive the 08's 09's would be rocking some NICE projectors! But who he is gonna step up? I wan't to see some hands...

Actually s2k projectors are on the expensive end of the market. If you are talking about more popular, it would be the TSX or TL projectors, which make up 80% of all retro'd lenses.

No way RRM would sell projectors (good projectors, not ebay style) for 450 bucks. If you guys are looking for quality stuff, look around the net, there are many companies that do retros. It's not cheap and you can expect some turnaround time.

Here you go guys, ONE projector evo with ballasts and everything on ebay lol.

TSX: "Its not as sharp as the s2000, and not quite as intense, but the differences aren’t all that big."
The link shows you the different types of projectors and their pros and cons. I know the s2k is the best out there, but for the price and output, the TSX takes it.

After rummaging the site a little more, it looks like they've already done a Lancer.

some photos from today, we are starting to hang the intercooler and piping, some of the pipes are different from the 08-09 as well as some mounting holes.

2 things:
FIRST... NEVER disconnect/remove the little black thing in the picture under the hood latch. {just above the bumper foam pad offcenter to the right} apparently it's your "outside ambient temp" sensor, & according to the manual, if you remove or disconnect it,.. it's ruined. That's a NOTE straight from the manual.
SECOND: How hard is it to remove the front bumper? I just bought an Angel Eyes kit off of E-Bay for like $45 plus s/h. REAL Cold Cathode lighting 50,000 Mcd... And I need to remove the bumper to do it... then the lights & do the 200 Degrees for 15min in the oven trick. I'm weary to do the Oven trick myself,.. afraid I'll screw that up somehow. Then I'm worried reassembling them with the Oven trick in reverse could damage the new Cold Cathode lights. Any ideas on this? Or should I use a Hair Dryer to reglue them?

Just contact the guy, I believe its 500 for them and they are plug and play. I think. They have a waiting list which is 4-6 weeks and turnaround is under a week. On the site, you can bypass the waiting list for 125 bucks more, but I think thats a little silly lol.

You have to send your lights to them, so you will be out of your lights for the week they work on it, plus whatever time the shipping is.

EDIT: Those retros will probably run you more than 500 because of the angel-eyes.
