sweet!! i'm closer to the noob side of the spectrum than the pro side for sure and this will definitely help me make the job take from an hour to just a few minutes. awesome job guys! i know ya'll don't like to quote numbers or show dynos cuz alot of companies overestimate their products and we know ya'll are better than that, but is there any sort of hp gain for this intake or is it more for gas mileage increase? just wondering cuz the closest thing i've ever had to an intake was a throttle body spacer on my 99 chevy silverado and it gave more gas mileage increase than noticeable speed/hp.

the intake does make hp and tq, some companies will say 10-15hp for and intake, but on the realistic side of things u can expect 5-7hp at the wheels.

just bought and installed the V2 intake and i'm very happy with it. just have a question, does anyone know of any sort of non garage available lubricant that i might be able to use to help slip the connecting rubber piece from the intake itself to the throttle body? i'm having troubles getting the piece all the way down where i would like it on the throttle body and i'm not sure what i could use to get it closer without worrying about getting any lubricant in the throttle body. any ideas RRM guys or anyone at all? WD-40, Crisco, Pam??? Thanks for the help!

Your own oil cause the lil tube from the head kicks up a lil oil off the cams to keep the throttle body slightly lubed So in a way very small trickles of oil go back through the back half of the intake away from the sensor. Just touch a little on your finger barely a drop to slide it on there.

Use soapy water. That way it is slipping when wet. Once it dry up it is sticky. Kinda like J@#zz
