strut bar not going on thanx to the little sensor...... need help is it a nust orcould i just remove it all replies welcom

 

u talkin bout this correct, cuz thats your cruise control thingy and i dont think u wanna take it out.....

 

no, he means the little sensor to the left of it, the black on that plugs into the top of the intake manifold...

 

nope, thats the thottle bdy look next to it the little black and red sensor. the bar is hitting the little sensor

well dude you have to understand that a lot of the stuff they sell is "affordable" you can get strut bars from them for like $16 plus shipping....... some of the stuff obviously dosent fit perfect.

 

The front tie bar was known not to fit. Someone posted on it a while ago. The rear tie bar they (used to?) sell fit though. Go fig.

 

just a thought what if i removed my cruise control sensor???
think any thing bad would happen???
or should i remover the senor place the bar then put the senor back on?........ah yes i feel like a kid again asking so many questions

That's to close to you tps to mess with, not safe, if you like going anywhere that is.

 

how about you return the strut bar and buy one that fits.......or you can try putting some washers on the strut bolts to raise the bar a little..tho i dunno how that will effect the strength.

 

i wouldnt remove your cruise control. yeah procarparts.com sucks a fat one AGAIN!

 

Yeah, I bought one and tried that, but the washers still don't raise it up enough. I just got the RRM single tube. works fine for me.

 

hey pickleknock, i guess u had allready stated that he circled the throttle body and when i sent in my post i was lke hmmmmmmm....but i wasnt disagreeing with ya....hopefully procarparts is gona let me send it back or refund my they better!!!
