Unhappy Broken Light!!

whats up guys, well i have big problem! My 05 lancer es tail light is messed up, today after work i looked at it and the cover that covers the big circle shaped light has just completely fell off and the only way to fix it is to open the light up! does anyone know how to fix it or open the light up to were i can put it back together? cause i dont want to buy another set.

Well I guess it's the same as if you were going to open the headlights... What I did was get a large cookie sheet, place a wet towel on it and put the tail light on that... Stick it in the oven, I think I did it like 300 or something, wasnt too high, and back it for a few minutes to soften the silicon...

Then after how do you stick them back together?

Heat them back up and the silicon will melt some and become like putty.... Push it back together and use more silicon to go around the light to make sure its fully sealed...
