Porblem with HID

Hi guys, i installed my HID kit, and have a problem with the "default" light that you can't turn of. The light start to blink and is very annoying and possibly will damage my HID, so i have to turn the lights on even in the day so that it doesn't blink.

Any suggestions?

Your battery is low. When it has enough power your hids wont blink. Your welcome.

battery is not low, DRLs haven't been disabled which is why it's flickering. please search, there is a guide on how to "disable DRLs"...it's a simple plug behind the drivers headlight i believe

I installed mcculloch HID xenons and they do the same thing. I called a tech @ xenonking or something and they said something like there is too much current running thru the DRL that's why they flicker then shut off after a minute or so. I read a few threads about wiring them into the parking or side markers but I didn't want to wreck anything. Easy enough to just turn on the lights

Do you have fog, low, and high beams on your car and are they all using hids? If so what watt hids are used on each.

the owners manual that came with my sets says that they use 35W and 3.5A. That seems low because they are freakin bright. They all use seperate ballasts
