the 03 lancer had 130k+ miles on it. i had it listed for a while at about 5k, only had a few inquiries, nothing serious though. took it to the dealer on a trade about 2 months back. only got like 2-2.5k for it. the miles completely drove down the value. if you really want a good idea of what you're gonna get on a trade, don't go by kbb. go to edmunds.com and look up the "true market value" of your vehicle, which takes a whole bunch more crap into consideration than bluebook. edmunds told me the "true market value" of my vehicle was 1800. i got slightly more than that. i'd say it's pretty accurate. edmunds knows the dealer will rape you in every way possible on your trade, and are kind enough to let you know how bad the raping will be before hand
