Help! Thinking about trading in my Lancer.

I got automatic oz w/ spoiler, for 16500, and I was thinking I might want to trade that in for a manual oz. I had the car for about a month and a half and i have 2500 miles on it. Manual oz is about $800 cheaper than automatic. If I trade it in, how much do you think my lancer will be worth? Can some one help?

Well, you're pretty upside down now on your car, assuming you haven't even started paying because of Mitsu's great triple zero. You might be lucky if you get 13,500 for it. And your payment would be really high. And don't forget, next year that interest rate kicks in. Prob the best thing to do if you haven't started paying for it is to wait a while, get some money into it, and try to trade in a year or so. Unless you've got money to burn, you're kinda screwed right now, sorry, hope this helped

so it's not a good idea to trade it in. all right. I mean, I love my car, just thought that manual might be funner, but if i lose that much money, then forget about it. i'll just keep it.

there's nothing wrong w/ an automatic, it gets old having to shift in everyday traffic anyway. Plus they're not that much faster.

I am doing exactly what ur thinking about doing.

The only thing is my current finance is a 3 year 0%.

My dad picked up the car and ended up giving it to me. Being that I'd rather have stick and the car in black(or gray). I spoke to my dealer and he told me the most id loose is maybe a few hundred bux considering i already payed off about 5000 worth of the car (0% Intrest)

It'll work out for some but not for many....try it see if its worth it.

thanks nyclancer, you brought a lot of hope to my little dilemma here. you have a white car just like i do. cool. i just called the dealer, and they are gonna appraise it or something. since i bought the car for pretty cheap, i think it should be ok. anyhow. thanks.
