I genuinely feel for the poor soul who started this thread, but I have to admit when I first saw the thread title I burst out laughing at work

sorry about that accident and i'm glad you were not seriously injured; I have never heard of a total lock up in steering like that on our car. I have heard of a mechanical failure in a 04-06 RA, but not an actual "my car won't turn" kind of thing. May want to have that inspected to see what caused it.

you may have just lost your power steering, which has happened to me in the snow and sucks a lot. but loosing total ability to steer the car at all is definitely worth investigating. Well... assuming you weren't just trying to get some air

Caught air once too and landed pretty hard but no major damage other than a slight crack on some steering component. It looks fun in the movies but not so fun in real life.
