tell your dad to pull his head out ya mommas *** and get a manual. That is such a worthwhile skill for a young man to have.

Well that was totally uncalled for. If you two decide to keep this up in this thread, then I will close it.

If you plan to go turbo eventually then you need to call RRM. They are the only ones really doing turbos on the Lancer. The can tell you what you want to do better than any of the guys out there. They are doing a turbo install right now on a Lancer. I saw it Monday night myself. Call them!

not true. RRM is an excellent resource for all you so cal people but I personally can't take 2 weeks to go to LA and get a turb installed. There are companies selling turbo parts and anyone who wan't to take the time could make their own intake manifold to match whatever turbo they get. Again, not downing you, just don't want to get this kid off to the wrong idea. Sorry bout your Mother.

check this. www.ddynopower.com this guy will ship you the parts and you can install yourself, or at least take to a local garage for them to install. Or call Rob and see if he'll work with you on shipping the parts. I know that they were only doing installs previously...maybe that will be changing.

Doug's Dyno has been brought up several times on the boards and everyone inevitably brings mention to reliability issues. They don't have the best record with DSM turbos. Personally, I'd consider waiting for an RRM kit or possibl even RMR if there's the possibility of getting a dealer install. It may not cost the same for either, but I'd sure feel more confident going with a company that has a better track record (figuratively speaking).

forget turbo

You're young and you're stupid, so the saying goes... j/k

Forget the turbo and just take a big bold risk, save the time and money and get a nice 60 shot NOS setup!

ughh...how much time and money do you save if your wet injection nos backfires and blows up an engine? not saying you don't take the same risk with a turbo, but IMO it is worth the extra money to have "legit" power rather than some spinach in a can.
