Small Mods?

What can I do to turn oout some more hp's because I always have people that want to race and I say some other time because I'm unsure if I can really keep up let alone win. What can I do, cause I need help and in a few months I'm moving to FL and I'll really need it then. Because when I do get down there I was thinking about auto-crossing it.

My advice, read through every tech forum here and make sure you browse everything before posting something that's been explained numerous times!

btw, it all depends on how fast you wanna go...with just bolt ons you won't get much - in other words a base integra will pound you still...

like evosoul said you won't get much from simple bolt on's like an exhaust and intake at most you'll get 15hp and even that might be wishful thinking, but if that's all your looking for then go ahead.

For the biggest gain you're going to want either a supercharger or the ever popular turbo. Good luck in finding what you want!!!

Hey man where in FL you movin too?? We got a few guys here in Tampa that have some great mods. I got an Ingen intake and it makes a diff, not too much, but I can handle my own. I've killed a Pontiac SunFire GT, GMC Senoma, Gs eclipes, and a Nissan GXE. So I guess its can help you out a little.

Auto cross - power to weight ratio is important. better start stripping weight off the car.

SC? don't go to that path on a 4 banger. It's more effective on a V8.

The best way besides the basic I/E is header. Then cyl head work. And Finally camshaft work (will give you the kick in the pants speed) . . . tune it so you don't get lumpy idle.

With those you can surprise a lot of people.
