Hi,My new Lancer Gts is less than 30 days old.And because of wet road and drying ice my car has become quite messy.It Wicked White.

Now my quetion is how should I wash my car?

With clean water only.Or Can I use car shampoo?I have (simulated)sheep skin wash mitts,Meguiar's gold car wash, and synthatic shamois.

I have heard that new car manufacturer advise to wash car only with clean water ,and using shampoo will ruin clean coat is it true?
