license plate holders

I am a perfectionest when it comes to my car, I even painted the temperature controls and head unit lights red so they match my accent color and speedometer. I really do not like the dealer license plate holder on my car. I think its tacky and am looking for a nice one to put on. I was wondering if there were any EvolutionM Plate holders available or if they were considering making any for sale. Or somethin that wouldnt look so lame as a dealership.

Try Walmart or a auto parts store? You should be able to find one there.

I got a chrome frame that reads "LANCER" along the bottom, from the dealer for like $30.

I don't think evom.net frames have been mass-made for retail. I'm sure you could have one made though.

I made a request for evom license plate frames almost a year ago, and Mark and some mods were looking into it. That's about as far as they got. Oh well.

Here is a suggestion.

I took off the oem bumper grill and put a black screen mesh. Then I put my license plate behind the mesh. For me, it looked cool and you can only see the number. I had it since January 2002 and had no problems with cops. As long as you see the number, youre good to go.
