Question Air Intakes

Hey. I need a performance mod. I want an intake. Air ram air intakes worth it? I have an auto so I can't get a cold air intake.

Oh yeah. Do you think Injen or AEM are making cold airs for auto anytime soon? My friend has an auto accord and he has cold air from aem.

Injen does make a CAI for auto trannys. For the cost, I wouldn't go for a CAI over a short ram, run a few searches cuz we've had several good debates between the two.

Probably not, there's now way to get down to the bottom of the car without flattening the piping. It defeats the purpose. a short ram will do fine. I noticed the biggest gain in performance on my car from a short ram, even more than my header.

That's insane, feeling more power from an intake than a header. My header was the ONLY mod that I could feel obvious power just by hitting the gas. At least more obvious than an intake.

If you want a cold air intake, look at the short ram from RMR - it uses the stock ram air piping with a short ram. It's probably your best solution if you want CAI in your auto.

I agree..I have the RMR Intake on my lancer...One of the only intakes I've ever had that I felt more power....it's worth the money, and your dealer can install it....mine did....

O yea...it sounds cool too
