I kinda like the way both look in each of their respective ways but my goal isn't to make it look like an evo, but rather something unique (yes that's kind of an oxymoron considering more and more people are getting these depo lights lol). but still.

Juan, thanks for the link but when i click on the currency converter it says they want $360 USD for ONE fog light... yeah... not interested in paying that lol. but yeah any reason they say why HID isn't recommended for fogs?

Thanks OZ Rally, i was hoping someone had them already so i could see what they actually look like on the car... it does remind me of the evo headlights... i'm not sure if i like that or not.

ultimately those ebay lights are the best value... HIDs AND projector housing? ugh... freakin economy...
I would get some of those ones like Brandon, I just fear the halo coming unglued. He did a nice write up on how to fix it, I just have fears of oven baking them. I've tried once on some extra taillights I had for my 93 summit, broke them pretty bad. I didn't look at the price on fogs, I figured they where up there, I just wanted you to see there are some options. I wouldn't pay that either. I plan on using that jdm cedia front bumper, and refitting American $50 fog lights to it.

sounds like a plan. yeah thats my worry too... like i might try baking my old lights if/when i get projectors that way i don't have to really worry about screwing them up... but yeah as for the fogs i already have some aftermarket pilot "driving lights" on the car... problem is the wiring is too small of a gauge for the amps that are being put thru them and it blew out the relay. suck.

The only reason I"m staying away from those is because they are illegal.

You can't see the 3 lines in the side.

Do you have installed pics of them chromed?

As is says on the box "For off-road use only." Honestly tho the only problem I had with them before they popped the relay was when I left the LED feature they have on... and got stopped by the local police with a ticket for "Improper color of lens" and technically the statute being "Misuse of emergency lights." Got that one thrown out only had one for having an expired insurance card in the car even tho i had current insurance. Anywho... i guess it just depends on how to the books the cops want to be.

Just having them on a car here is illegal I believe unless you cover them.

That's weird... I can't understand why they would make it illegal... what about cars that come with foglights stock?

Those are fine. I don't know, but they usually have a d.o.t stamp on them. My stock eclipse ones didn't. Those ones you can buy at walmart or similar, are illegal. If you can get something stock looking that fits into your bumper without all the crazy colors, you could probably get away with it.

My passenger side is fogged because the silicone didn't seal it up well. That's going to be my little project this weekend.
