Question Quiet/subtle exhausts that still offer performance?

Wondering if theres a catback system out there for the lancer (02-06) that is quiet, and less noticeable than the common fart cannon - without using a cheap silencer.

Names, prices, and pics would be rad.

Go custom. It will cost less, look better, and be as silent as you want it. You don't get any real gains from exhaust unless you are turboed anyhow.

No, he drives an Evo. Magnaflow is pretty quite and subtle as long as you don't have a header. Pretty much any exhaust will be loud with a header.

It shouldn't be loud, but Greddy is a nice alternative. Only problem with the Greddy is it has the can look.

i guess loud is a tricky word to use, since we probably have different ideas of what loud is. id like it to sound as close to stock as possible. might be hard, but thats the idea.

lets face it, most exhausts on these slow 4 cyls sound ricey. just trying to figure out an alternative.

Could try just getting rid of the stock resonator then.
